that's how i woke up this morning.....pls do not misunderstand , i wasn't hit by my mother for not sleeping in a proper posture or fell down from my bed which is 10 feets tall ( that's an exaggeration , u didn't think that's true ..or did u??)
well , in the midst of my sleep , my knee, which is already wounded, accidentally hit the woodwork of my bed ...and i woke up in a scream ...not knowing wat the hell was going on....
''was i hit by an aeroplane??'' or ''was i being ambushed by my foe?'' were some of the questions i asked myself at first...well ,after like 20 seconds ..i regained my consciousness and realised what was going on...hehe...so as a result , i got myself a second wound....i've injured my fist , after venting my outrage and anger on the woodwork of my bed....hai...damn it!!! wish that i wasn't that stupid!!!
by the way , that's how i injured my knee..it's weird , but i guess weird things do happen occasionally..
i was playing badminton ..and i was trying to execute a smash when i heard a scream...without realising it, that's actually from my mouth....in an attempt to kill off the game , i missed the shuttlecock and hit my own ''fragile'' knee with my racquet.....that's it...i ended up with a bruised and sore knee ...just a step away from having to walk with the aid of a walking stick...

‘’Go or don’t go’’ ….although this looks to be a rather simple phrase , it has plagued my mind all day long, and to be precise, from the very minute I woke up this morning.
Well , serious as it may sound , it’s actually about whether or not to attend a wedding dinner of a relative. Though it’s just as easy as making a choice, somehow I find it tough to make up my mind , reason being that this would be the second of the three dinners I have to attend within one week…I have attended the first one just a couple of days ago , and there’ll be another one on Saturday …..and to be frank to u , i’m sick of it already…
U may say , ‘ hey look pal, if u dun feel like going , just forget about it lah…’
I wish that it’s as simple as that .In actuality , the complexity of the problem is sometimes beyond the computational power of human brain…..hehe…..yeah, I ain’t no joking..
Even before I have made up my mind , my parents have been nagging at me and making me feel obliged to attend the dinners…
U see , Chinese would perceive any reluctance to attend a wedding dinner as a vote of insincerity and ‘’not giving face’’ , no matter how clear the logic or reason behind it. So basically i was left with no choice but to choose the green pill and attend the dinner….and here I am, sitting in front of my laptop after coming back from the 2nd dinner of the week…
The only thing I could do now is go jogging everyday and watch my diet , as I do not wish to become a victim of obesity due to the excessive intake of calories from these dinners!!!!!!!

well, i just came back from gurney plaza....there's a photofair there at the moment , and it's reputed to be the ''largest'' photofair in malaysia this year...
ironically , from i could see , i reckon that it's not really as big as i thought ,perhaps it's b'coz of the expectation which is as high as sky.....hehe...dunno lah , anyway , u could find most of the brands there lah, namely canon, olympus, nikon, minolta , sony anf the likes.....
to be fair to it lah , one actually has a wide range of digicams to choose from the fair...
nevertheless, having been to that fair has not really been a boon to me ...rather , it's a bane to a certain extent...
y do i say so leh?? hehe....b'coz now that i have decided to buy ixus 400 , a new prob arises .....i dunno WHO to buy from leh....
u see, now i have two offers which can be considered as exceptionally good....
the first one is i could get the camera with all the things in the package at just 1600....and in fact i have promised that guy to buy from him...
but now i have a second choice( from the fair) , at a price of 1799, i could get the camera with the same things ,with the 32mb CF card being substituted by a 128 MB one.....in addition , i could get a cap , a neckstrap ( choon man) and a mini tripod absolutely free....hehe... i know that u all are envious of me having a luxury of choices , but i couldn't help it wat....who asks me to be such a persuasive person and have such a good speaking skill???? :p
ok lah , sick of this topic liao.....don't wanna think about it liao, at least not for today....
oh ya , i'm learning HTML now....not really from a book , but from a friend through internet...hehe....so don't be surprised if i could draw ''ang kong hu'' ( a writing of talisman) suddenly.....since the codes look like a hell bunch of rubbish....

i visited quite a number of shops today , trying to figure out which digicam to buy ....and now as i;m sitting right here, right in front of my laptop, i could safely assert that my personal experience confirm the theory behind the above-mentioned ''idiom''.... look , i went to err 4 shops today, let's name them as 1,2,3,4 in order to make things easy....if i were to make a decision promptly on which shop to go to purchase the digicam , i would have chosen shop 4 without any hesitation.....disregarding the price , n i mean even if a same product costs me 200 bucks more in that shop comparatively...

or is there a CHIOBU there,so beautiful and charming that it's almost impossible to say no to watever she asks from u?????

the answer is a gigantic and resounding NO!!! IT'S BECAUSE of the treatment that i got from the shop A,B, and C .......well , as a conscious consumer , of coz i would ask in details and compare the prices first b4 making up my mind right.....so , wat i got was a contemptous look which suggests suspicion and disrespect...furthermore , their responses to my questions were....err...how to say?? like an ambiguous and seemingly positive response with subtle unwillingness...like ''eng siu eng siu'' like that lah......anyway , perhaps that was b'coz of my untidy look and uncombed hair with a few flies above it.....

well , no matter waat er lah , my point of view is that all customers or prospective customers should be treated with great patience and respect....if i'm a to become a boss in the future , i would make sure that none of my employees behave in such a way....i believe that instead of luring customers , such an attitude will drive away even the most mild-mannered customer.....

at last i have got my digicam.....pheu(sigh of relief)...i have been waiting for this moment since 3 weeks ago, and it seemed like eternity until this morning when my fren informed me that he has just got our digicams....well, when i said ''our''.... it means my 3 other housemates and me myself...yeah, make no mistake about it, there're 4 digicams altogether.....
well, it's a complicated story actually.....just a few weeks ago, each of us bought a compaq laptop and got a free digicam with it....yeah,totally free....but instead of getting it together with our laptops , we were told to wait due to ''out of stocks''...damn...initially that fella said , one week..then 2 weeks ..then even more....
after weeks of speculations, days of sleepless nights, hours of dejection and endless seconds of uncertainties.....finally we got our digicams, but not yet really'' got '' them actually...u see, all of us are back to our hometowns d...so my fren in kl has to take all the digicams for us, sort of like an agent without any commission..hehe....

after all, it really seems like an eternity b4 i could get a touch at ''my precious''( sounds like GOLLUM in lord of the rings,doesn't it??) physically with my flesh.....

oh ya,my laptop is compaq presario X1075 ...if u ask me about it ,frankly speaking, i hold no grudges against it at alll, very very satisfying...
to be precise , it's powerful enuf to launch''APOLLO 13'' (no joke, A13 used intel 80486 microprocessor nia) and it's stylish enuf to be an ornamental stuff in the lounge(no guarantee that u'll agree with me on that though....hehe)

bt the way...i plan to get a NEW DIGICAM...hehe, queer but true.....i plan to get canon ixus 400 (darn expensive man)/ olympus miu 300(nice appearance)/ yashica finecam sl 300 r (so thin that u dun have to go on diet or france marie bodyline) ......

well, it has been quite a hectic day for me.......though i have not really encountered any fishy or corky stuff...
i had a dream last night ....i can't exactly recount wat the dream was all about , but as far as i'm concerned, it's something to do with my car.....it was a long dream, and b'coz of it i woke up so late today(exactly 12.00 pm)...damn...and it's the main culprit also for the wastage of 5 bucks in 3D...damn again!!!by the way, i'm not a seoson-gambler though...hehe...just buy toto or 3d occasionally....sometimes once in a year...all hinge on the ''frequency'' of the occurance of ''special'' events...hehe

oh talking of it, i do remember the reason that led to that dream.....i just had a close encounter with a seemingly-tragic accident....i must say that i was lucky to remain unhurt and my car intact....it goes like this...

i was on my way back after shopping with my family for new furnitures for my new house....i was chatting with my cousin,ah liang, when there was a wira coming with such tremendous speed from far behind ( i could see it from my rear mirror)....everything was so enjoyable until then...in split seconds, that car passed mine and in the progress nearly hitting my car...so out of sheer natural-reaction, i pressed the horn to ''sound'' my displeasure at his barbarian-like driving style....well, then the unexpected happened....that silly fella swerved from my front right to exactly my front and had an emergency break.....sucks man....of coz i was shocked and without realising it, i pressed the brake so hard that my car came to a screeching halt...in fact there was 1 or 2 seconds when i lost control of my car completely....shit...but i was lucky enuf that all the cars behind me somehow managed to avoid hitting me....then came the most frustrating part...that fxxxer gave me a finger.....

i was so fed up ...so i gave him a chase.....then he stopped by the road side, waiting to ''negotiate'' with me....i stopped abreast and had barely said a few words like'' hey, lu siow aar....lu ai wa si ar(u wanna kill me ar)???'' when he suddenly sprung out of the car...looked like wanna have a wwf smack-down match with me...well,i'm not ''the rock'' or ''triple x'' wat......so wat could i do?? of coz i chao lah...hai...seems like there are more and more road-bullies and insane drivers nowadays...

so wat is the morale of the story?? remember to keep a stick in ur car , just in case it comes needy at times like this...hehe....if only i was ''siow'' and ''courageous'' enuf to confront him....dun baby......run if u can't guarantee of ur own safety....anyway, it was indeed a close call...dun u think so??
